ABOUT AZEEZ LANRE AKEEM

Akeem was born in Otun Ekiti state on July 31 st, 1975 in to a family of nine e is the first in the family.

He started primary school Education at Ansar Ud-Deen primary school in Otun from 1980-1986.After successful completion of the Examination, of the Common Entrance Examination; he was admitted to further his secondary education at Moba Grammar school also in Otun-Ekiti. In his senior class, he was the Liberian prefect before graduation in 1992.(The school principal refer to him as a moving encyclopedia due to his erudite of knowledge). After secondary education, he went further to study Electrical & Electronic Engineering at Ondo State Polytechnic,Owo from 1993-1995. Akeem joined AICETEC NIGERIA LTD in Lagos for his 1 year Industrial Attachment programme. On successful completion, he was admitted to study Electronics & Communication for his Higher National Diploma and came out with upper credit. Infact, he made upper credit in his ND & HND programme.

Lanre (as he is called in his office) served with Federal Housing Authority in Lagos for his NYSC before joining Basscomm Nigeria Limited in 1999. From Project Engineers position in his office, his career excellence has taken him to the position of Assistant Project Manager and he has been sent abroad for training on some of the system the company installs and maintains.
